Blog, schmog. Why would I want to read yours?

Ladies and gentleman, please take your seats and fasten your seatbelts as we are about ready for departure. Departure on a journey of epic proportions that will leave you hanging on every word.  What am I kidding? This is a blog, not the opening of Fast & the Furious 175.

Instead of trying to type a bunch of witty statements, I will host a question and answer session with myself on what this blog is about, and you will need to decide if you want to tune in next week as we truly get started on the sharing of this literary masterpiece.  Again, kidding.

HKBlogger: Why did you decide to write the blog feet first: staying afloat in career, health and life
HK: I have been on a journey of personal discovery related to my career, health and all things in between.  My writing will be very much about how to tackle tough challenges professionally and personally without treading water.  I am a work in progress - this will be a very personal account for me.  Since I am a "market-eer" it is also great for brand awareness - and help folks can get a sense of how I write.

HKBlogger:  Why would someone read your blog versus choose to watch paint dry?
HK:  Because they have heard me whine for months about writing something and want to see it to believe it.  In all seriousness, I would say because people find my experiences relatable and me, personally, approachable.  People have accused me of changing - this blog will explain the why and how.

HKBlogger: What kinds of things will you blog about?
HK: It's right there in the title - career, health (and fitness), and life in general. Yes, it's broad - that is by design. Some weeks will be light and airy and other weeks you may want to sit in a corner and read while eating bon bons.  (think Days of Our Lives)  I am 41 years young - and it took a very real experience in my life for me to wake the f%ck up and figure out my center.

That's all for now. I don't like to write long entries, nor do people like to read them.

Want to know what happened to change my world?  Come back for a read next week.
